DAY 2 CANCUN - CHETUMAL

Departure from Cancun to Tulum. Tour of this archaeological site, which is unique because it was built on a cliff ,b>over-looking the Caribbean Sea. It’s location, made it an important coastal port for the Mayas. Lunch provided. Continue to Bacalar Lagoon and the Blue Cenote (underwater cave). Time off for relaxing and swimming in this natural swimming pool. Continue to Chetumal city. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Dinner provided.
DAY 3 CHETUMAL - EMILIANO ZAPATA

Depart towards Calakmul Biosphere Reserve, one of the largest and most important biosphere reserves in Mexico. Tour of this incredible archaeological site, with one of the tallest pyramids of the Mayan empire, which is located in the middle of this natural wonder. Continue to Emiliano Zapata. Lunch provided on the way. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Dinner provided.
DAY 4 EMILIANO ZAPATA - LACANJA

Departure towards Lacanja, stop over at Las Golondrinas Waterfalls, time off for a swim. Continue to Lacanja, located in the middle of the jungle that belongs to the Bosques Azules Biosphere Reserve. In this moist evergreen tropical forest, lives more than two thousand different species, some of which are considered endangered. Lacanja belongs to the Lacandon community, one of the purest, smallest and the most important one of the Mayan ethnic groups. There are about 600 Lacandons. Lunch provided. Rafting through the jungle and arriving at an unexplored and unrestored archaeological site. Time off to enjoy nature, watch forest animals and refresh by swimming in the river and waterfalls in the middle of Lacandon Jungle. Nice walk back to Lacanja community. Check in. Dinner provided.
DAY 5 LACANJA – PALENQUE

Depart towards Bonampak, archaeological site, well known around the world for its frescoes. Lunch provided. Continue to Palenque. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Dinner on your own.
DAY 6 PALENQUE - CAMPECHE

Depart towards Palenque. Tour this amazing archaeological site, located amongst lush vegetation, and where in 1952, inside the Temple of the Inscriptions, the Mexican, Alberto Ruz discovered the tomb and sarcophagus of King Pakal. Palenque has been classified as patrimony of humanity by UNESCO. Continue to the Gulf of México. Lunch provided. Continue to the fortified city of Campeche. This city was founded by the Spanish conqueror Francisco Monejo in 1540 and has been classified as a patrimony of humanity by UNESCO. Tour of Zocalo square and the Cathedral. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Dinner on your own.
DAY 7 CAMPECHE – VALLADOLID

Depart towards Merida, known as “White City”, that was founded by the Spanish conqueror
Francisco Montejo in 1542. Tour of the city. Continue to Chichen-Itza. Lunch provided. Tour of this archaeological site that was classified as one of the 7 wonders of the world in 2007 with its amazing Pyramid of Kukulkan (Plumed Serpent) and its sacred cenote. Continue to the colonial city of Valladolid. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Dinner provided.
DAY 8 VALLADOLID – PLAYA DEL CARMEN

Depart towards a cenote, time off for a morning swim. Continue to Playa del Carmen. Arrival and check in at the hotel. Lunch on your own . The rest of the day is dedicated to relaxing and enjoying the white sand beaches and turquoise water at the Mayan Riviera, as well as all the amenities that this city has to offer. Dinner on your own.
DAY 9 PLAYA DEL CARMEN – CANCUN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
